Love Aaj Kal crashed out on Monday with disaster collections of 2 crore nett. The collections are over 80% down from day one which had that Valentines Day boost. The four day numbers of the film are 27.25 crore nett and the week may add around 5 crore nett more..

There are not many films which have come down to 2 crore nett on Monday from a 7-8 crore nett Friday which are the fair value numbers. The content has been rejected in a big way by its target audience and it will be a task for this film to reach 35 crore nett and that is despite picking up nearly 12 crore nett on day one. It will probably not do three times its first day and its not as if the first day was huge.  Its rare to see a metro film rejected at this level with the last one probably being Shaandaar in 2015.
