Indoo Ki Jawani opened at around 25 lakhs nett on day one as it opened late in the day at many single screens due to an issue with the exhibitors and distributors. This did not make much of a difference to the collections. This film would have probably opened at the 75 lakh nett mark in a normal scenario.

This film would be similar to a Khandaani Shafakhana released in 2019 which opened to 78 lakhs nett. This is is showing that the business is down 60-70% from from levels. A Tenet would have been expected to hit 3.50 crore nett in a normal scenario but it was just under 1.25 crore nett. Its a similar trend with Indoo Ki Jawaani.

The numbers are very low and not much can be expected but the film has seen a theatrical release so cinemas will at least get some footfalls over the weekend but they will be at a minimum. The target is a 1 crore nett weekend for the film but even that will not be easy.
