Roohi is showing a very good upturn on Saturday as collections are set to reach its first day total of 2.75 crore nett and could even hit that 3 crore nett mark. The collections across multiplexes in the bigger cities are set to cross the numbers they recorded on Thursday though other places may not reach day one totals. But the the business is mainly from the bigger multiplexes as a lot of twin plexes and singles have not opened yet.

If the film gets 3 crore nett it will be the first time that a 3 crore nett total has come on any day post the pandemic and that includes Hollywood release. It has to remembered this film does not have face value and nor has it found support from the national media which small films need to give them a push over the weekend. Despite this the film will be recording growth in the 50% range on its third day.

The 10 crore nett extended weekend total should now happen for the film as it will be around 7.50-7.75 crore nett after three days. This is the highest total post the pandemic beating the 5.70 crore nett recorded by Wonder Woman 1984 in December. The best total by a Hindi film was the 1.18 crore nett total figure of Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari which was way back in November. The dubbed Vijay The Master was also around 1.15 crore nett in January.
