Godzilla v Kong continued to good business on its second day as it collected around 5 crore nett taking its two day numbers over 11 crore nett. The film is driven by South India with Tamil Nadu and Nizam / Andhra delivering good numbers.

The drop in Hindi circuits was less on second day as compared with South but the collections are hardly there in Hindi markets due to many circuits facing restrictions due to the pandemic. This is the first film releases in Hindi markets since the reopening of cinemas in October to have reports on the positive side but it is not able to collect due to the pandemic.

The response of the film is better than Wonder Woman 84 and Tenet but the collections in Mumbai or Delhi dont really reflect that. The South is reflective and a few circuits there are in a much better position than they were at the release time of Tenet and Wonder Woman 84.

The film will be dominating film over the weekend despite a new release Saina which does not have much hope looking at how the collections of Mumbai Saga and Roohi have fallen since release of Godzilla v Kong. There is a limited audience out there in Hindi circuits and those going to the cinemas over the weekend will go for Godzilla v Kong. But it will be the South Indian markets driving this film to success as 70% of the business is coming from Nizam / Andhra, Karnataka / Mysore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The two day figures of Godzilla v Kong are as follows.

Thursday - 6,25,00,000 apprx

Friday - 5,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 11,25,00,000 apprx
