Puaada has done very well in week one as it collected a little under 4 crore nett in its eight day first week and this has come from just 60 odd cinemas and it started day one with just 50. The drop was there on Thursday because of the release of Bell Bottom but the film has found appreciattion and will continue to its rock steady run again.
The collections in the four main cities (Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Jalandhar) are simply outstanding despite some cinemas being shut. They week numbers are far higher than anything released post the pandemic and even higher than any film released in 2020 in some of the multiplexes in these cities. The key PVR property in Mohali is now coming into play from today which is the highest collecting cinema for Punjabi films. The SRS chain which went bankrupt will have its Ludhiana property started up again by another party and this reflects how the film has got the market going again in Punjab. The nett collections of Puaada in India are as follows.
Thursday - 51,00,000
Friday - 46,00,000
Saturday - 70,00,000
Sunday - 83,00,000
