Chal Mera Putt 2 is continue with excellent business as it is set to collect around 4 crore nett in its third week. The second and third week have come post the pandemic and it will collect over 12.50 crore nett in these two weeks. the film seems to be heading for a total of 17-18 crore nett in India and could end up among the top five Punjabi film grossers In India.

The film is already the highest grossing Punjabi film of all time in overseas as it hit the $3.75 million mark. The main reason for this the phenomenal business in North America as it becomes the first Punjabi film in history to cross $2m. It has smashed all records by a distance in Canada and will end up crossing $2m in Canada alone. In USA it is still behind films like Shadaa and Angrez. Worldwide the film is set to be the third film to cross 50 crore after Carry On Jatta 2 and Shadaa. 

Most of these collections across the world have come post the pandemic and in a normal scenario with full release and no restrictions it would have probably been the biggest Punjabi grosser worldwide. The third part of this franchise will hit theatres on 1st October and no doubt it will do well again. The film has become a franchise on the lines of Golmaal for the Punjabi audience and there will be no surprise if there are many more films in this franchise.
