The Rajnikant starrer Annaatthe saw huge drops after the initial weekend and it grossed only 11 crore nett in its second weekend across India with most of this business coming from Tamil Nadu. The collections from other circuits hardly contributed in second weekend.

The film has so far collected 105 crore nett plus across India. The biggest Tamil film post the pandemic was Master which did 162 crore nett in India. It will be the second biggest film in the South behind Master after the pandemic. In Tamil Nadu the film needed to do a 60 crore plus share but despite the huge start it is likely to fall a little short.

The biggest Tamil film remains 2.0 with all India business of 413 crore nett though in Tamil Nadu alone Bahubali - The Conclusion remains the biggest with business of 120 crore nett plus.  The apprx business of Annaatthe till date across India is as follows.
