Spiderman No Way Home is comfortably outpacing Avengers Infinity War which collected 31 crore nett on day one and is the second biggest opening for Hollywood in India. If we compare the collections with Infinity War in the Hindi circuits then collections seem to heading for similar numbers across all the circuits. Some may go a little lower and some may go a little higher.

But in South the film looks to be going far higher than Infinity War. The morning collections in Nizam / Andhra are more comparable with Avengers Endgame rather that Avengers Infinity War and this is the case be it Hyderabad, Vijayawada, or Warangal . This circuit alone could do 60-70% more than Infinity War. Its a similar story in Mysore but maybe not 60-70% better. Tamil Nadu and Kerala may well be showing same trend. So South India as a whole will collect considerably more than Infinity War.

If we look at our circuits then they are also recording huge numbers. In Mumbai the collections will be restricted by the 50% capacity rule in Maharashtra but with Gujarat / Saurashtra looking better than Infinity War there is a chance that despite restrictions even Mumbai circuit may well be at the level of Infinity War.

Delhi NCR and East Punjab are extraordinary with NCR and the bigger centres of East Punjab running ahead of Sooryavanshi in the morning and afternoon shows. The UP side collections may stop the Delhi / UP circuit collections beating Sooryavanshi but West Bengal looks a sure shot to be above Sooryavanshi. On top this is a Thursday release unlike Sooryavanshi which was a Friday release and a national holiday.
