Pushpa (Hindi) did well on day two as it collected around 3.75 crore nett and growth of around 15%. There was huge growth in the big multiplexes of around 50-60% but there is only around 15% coming from these on day one. The ratio has gone a little higher on day two to around 20%.

The film crucially held up pretty well in mass pockets as most areas were pretty flat. There were minor drops in the areas that were very strong on day one but that is fine as they are coming of good levels. The two day business of the film in Hindi is around 7 crore nett and the places doing well should show strong gains on Sunday. The slight issue is that the 50% capacity rule in Maharashtra will affect the single screen business as its quite likely mainly of these would have gone housefull if full capacity allowed but now they will have to do with 50%.

These are solid results for the film especially as this pan India thing means nothing in Hindi circuits and umbers never really going to be big as its only Hollywood that is really for all India. Eventually a dubbed Telugu film without any branding going over 10 crore nett for the weekend which this will easily do is a good result.
