83 (Hindi) collected around 24 crore nett in its second week as collections fell badly post the holiday period. The drop is around 65% from the first week which is not too bad but it mainly came due to the holiday weekend and on top off a low first week.

The collections have dropped very fast in the last few days and it remains to be seen if it can collect better over the third weekend. There was no competition in terms of a new release which also helped 83 in the second weekend and that is the case in third weekend also but here there is no holidays and the collections are also now at a much lower level.

The film has suffered the highest losses in history of Hindi cinema due to huge costs and now the only thing that remains to be seen is whether the film can hit the 100 crore nett mark. This looked pretty easy last week but the real test was going to after the holiday period and the film failed in that. If RRR had released this week then even the 100 crore nett mark would be an impossible target but now with another open week it has a chance. The collections of 83 (Hindi) till date are as follows.
