The Kashmir Files gathers more momentum on Sunday as it set to collect in the 14 crore nett range which would give it a weekend of nearly 26 crore nett with the sort of growth which has never been witnessed before. Generally the films which grow are restricted to metros and a couple of other centres but here its gone way beyond that.

The film was hardly playing outside the bigger centres on day one but that picture is totally different on Sunday as can be seen by the jump in collections in UP from day one to day two then to day three. The collections on day two went up multifold and the circuit of Delhi / UP trebled. UP is always a struggle for the so called content films but here UP has gone crazy

The film is being led by North India with Delhi / UP collecting as much as Mumbai circuit if not more on Sunday (will depend on Gujarat as that circuit has also gone bonkers on Sunday). The Sunday numbers in Delhi / UP and East Punjab will be the highest outside that opening day of Sooryavanshi which was the big Diwali holiday.

The public has taken to the film in a big way and it remains to be seen what happens on Monday. Its going to about the drop from Sunday as judging it from the Friday collections will be irrelevent as it certain to be higher by a huge margin from Friday. It could be that what other successful films drop from Friday this will be doing from a Sunday.
