Shamshera had a disappointing first weekend with collections in the 31 crore nett range. There was not much trajectory over the weekend but for a film like the trajectory is an after thought and its really about that first day and here the film could not do well enough there.

The film saw around 20% growth in mass pockets of UP, CPCI, Bihar and Rajasthan on Sunday but shockingly Gujarat did not grow and all these areas can show 50% growth on Sunday for a big film. The film collected around 10-75-11 crore nett on Sunday.

Obviously there is going to be a huge struggle for collections over the weekdays and a big drop is inevitable on Monday. The industry is in shock but after what happened to the initial collections of Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 nothing really should shock as the box office scenario pattern is totally different from before the pandemic. No doubt its a sad situation but nothing really can be done at the moment and its mainly about  better stories and projects being launched now for better results in the future. The first weekend business of Shamshera is as follows.
