Brahmastra has emerged a HIT film as it shows insane growth on the second Saturday which could be 65-70% or even more in Hindi. The collections in languages have not grown much but its mainly about the Hindi versions which may collect over 14 crore nett. This will take the Hindi version to around 168 crore nett with the Sunday to come.

The growth on Saturday is simply phemomenal as its very rare for a big film to jump this much even on a second Saturday while post pandemic its like a dream. Its also across the board with national chains and non nationals while single screen contribution is less anyway but they have still grown as well as they could. The Hindi version alone now could be on course easily for a weekend of 38 crore nett which is an excellent number for the second weekend. It will be around 40 crore nett in all languages.

This growth on Saturday has consolidated the Friday number and now the film is looking a solid long runner which will continue to good business for some weeks to come. The insane growth on Saturday could man more muted growth on Sunday but this Saturday business was far more crucial as it takes it to a high number and even if limited growth comes on Sunday it will still be a good number.

The much needed HIT has finally come for the film industry and it should have really done the job on Monday with a better hold but at least the job is done in second weekend as the film comes into its own.
