Brahmastra is holding well on Saturday as it resumes its normal trajectory on Saturday. There was a chance that the film would have lost a crore or two from its Saturday and Sunday with both coming in lower than what they would have if there was no cinema day but that does not seem to be the case. The loss if any will be in lakhs and crores which basically means cinema day has given the film a 5 crore nett bump.
The film may well notch up a 5 crore nett plus number on Saturday which could put the film on course for a 19-20 crore nett total and then weekdays will also see lower rates at multiplexes of 112 as more experimenting is done with ticket pricing. This pricing has been done so its value and it can fit in the lower slab GST.
So this can push the business again over the weekdays but how much remains to be seen. The film is already a clean HIT and maybe it can ahead towards that SUPERHIT status though it will be difficult as it has a lot of work to do.
But there will be ticket pricing experiments over the next few weeks and they could work in favour of Brahmastra in terms of collections, footfalls and maybe even a SUPER HIT film.
