Drishyam 2 had had a strong a hold on Monday as it looks to collect in double digits as the film should collect 10 crore nett at least and this could even go to 11 crore nett. The drop is looking in the 30% range but this could go down to 25% or lower depending what happens in the evening shows.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had collected 11 crore nett on Monday so it would be great if Drishyam 2 could get above that as then it would continue to be above that film for the first four days. The Monday collections also confirm Drishyam 2 as a HIT film and joins Sooryavanshi, Gangubai Kathiwadi, The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Brahmastra as the post pandemic HIT films from the Hindi film industry.

The film will looking at 73-74 crore nett total in four days keeping it on course for a 100 crore nett first week but this depends on continuing this trend till the end of the week. If the film was to drop 20% on any of the next three days then that 100 crore nett mark would be out of range.

The film will be crossing the lifetime business of films like Samraat Prithviraj, Jugjugg Jeeyo, Vikram Vedha and Ram Setu in either four or five days and this is the unpredictability of the box office today as when a film works there are no limits but no one really has a clue which film that is going to be.
