Drishyam 2 again has taken advantage of weak competition as it collected in the 2.25 crore nett range which is a little higher than Thursday. This is mainly because of no competition. This takes the collections of the film to 193.50 crore nett and it will cross the 195.50 crore nett number of Sooryavanshi on Saturday and be second to Brahamstra post pandemic for original Hindi films with organic collections.

The 230 crore nett total of Brahmastra (Hindi) is out of reach now as its very unlikely that Drishyam 2 will not maintain this 45% weekly drop range when Avatar 2 comes. It is probbaly looking at a number of 215-220 crore nett which is more than good and extraordinary in terms of the box office scenario today

The fourth friday collections of the film are second only to KGF 2 post pandemic as that film collected 3.75 crore nett was in that post Eid period. The film is now collecting better than RRR (Hindi) on a daily basis so the fourth week collections should emerge higher than that film. The collections of Drishyam 2 till date are as follows,
