Selfiee collected a horrible 14.25 crore nett in its first week. The first week collections are in the range of films like Uunchai, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Radhe Shyam but none of these films really had much of a cast and Selfiee is a bigger film for the box office though maybe not the biggest in terms of production cost.

There will be no competition this weekend with the holdovers still dominating the screen space but Selfiee will hardly get any advantage due to rejection of the film. The 20 crore nett mark is still an ask from here and if there had been a release then it would have added just 1 or 2 crore to its total.

There was disbelief in the industry when the film released but slowly it all sinks in that today a star in the wrong content can give numbers like a non star. Basically a star in a film without any mass appeal is pretty much like the star not being there and initial numbers cant come unless there is some blockbuster song but even those collections wont last for too long.
