Bholaa saw a drop in collections on day two as it picked up 6.50 crore nett. The drop was always coming but is on the higher side and the film has a total of 16.75 crore nett in two days. The response to the film at a cinema level is decent but its pretty clear that Ramazan is affecting the film hugely as where exhibitors are seeing this decent response the sort of collections that should come are not coming.
The fact that a circuit like East Punjab is the out performer for this film which is multiplex heavy circuit and been a dull perfomer post pandemic and has a limited muslim audience pretty much tells the story and the problem. There had to be far more urgency to watch the film to get this audience out and even though the response is decent it seems a task to get this mass crowd out over Ramadan.
In Nizam / Andhra the local film Dasara is doing decent but Bholaa is very dull because for Hindi films the muslim crowd forms most of the audience. The footfalls are down post pandemic and if a mass film is to come pre Eid it will have to be one with a craze otherwise it will be only multiplex centric films which can score in this period. The film has the weekend to come but looking at the numbers from mass circuits its going to be a struggle as these areas should be doing much better but Ramazan is holding them back. the two day collections of Bholaa are as follows.
Thursday - 10,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 6,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 16,75,00,000 apprx
