Zara Hatke Zara Bachke did well again on Saturday collecting around 6.75 crore nett and taking its two day total to a decent 12 crore nett. The growth was 30% which is pretty good as the film is being helped by the offer which means collections are higher than they should be.

Spiderman showed growth which was around 55-60% and this film would probably have been around 50% also if all was normal but then it would have been on lower collections. The film should be able to push higher on Sunday especially as the film is performing well in likes of UP, Rajasthan and MP and these places get a good Sunday push. The film could have performed better in Gujarat as that is less compared to other core Hindi belts.

Sadly the probable take away from this film in the industry is going to be the buy one get one free offer as others also rack their minds for offers and how they get the audience in. A better way to look at it is the HIT music gave the film some traction at least in Hindi centres allowing the film to put up numbers in likes of Lucknow, Varanasi, Indore, Bhopal etc despite not much face value for these cities. The importance of music cannot be reiterated enough to bring audiences into the cinemas. If its original hit music then even better.
