The freefall of Adipurush collections continued on Wednesday as the film saw another 30-35% drop with collections in the 3-3.25 crore nett range. If this rout continues for the next few days the film will easily be under 10 crore nett for the second week. The five day numbers of the film are a little under 120 crore nett and its looking a 122 crore nett first week for the film.

The mass areas are are falling at a different level altogether from where they started. The content is rejected but the excessive fall in collections is also to do with the sentiment against the film. If the film was not based on Ramayana and content is rejected like this the collections would come down but not like this. Also when a film based on religious goes wrong you have the external factors like people who may not even have watched but still going full out against the film.

Despite the huge budget and total rejection of the film it will be saved from becoming an epic disaster like a Bombay Velvet, Zero or 83 as it has revenue from Hindi and Telugu. If it was Hindi alone it would have become the grandmother of all disasters but then the budget would also probably be not hitting 400 crore. The five day collections of the film are as follows.

Friday - 35,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 35,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 35,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 7,75,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

Wednesday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

Total - 1,20,75,00,000 apprx
