Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues had a phenomenal advance booking as it collected around 31 crore nett in advance. It is a five day advance and there are numbers there post the weekend as Tuesday is a national holiday. .he day one advance for the film was around 14 crore nett.

The advances were held back a little back by the national chains due to programming issues as many cinemas in the PVR / Inox chains uploaded final screenings on Thursday only but still even the national chains had crossed 6.50 crore nett by close of business on Thursday. Outside the nationals it was pure havoc and only KGF 2 has seen such advances before. The actual advance could could be higher due to the volumes of sales in singles over the counter in smaller centres which can be higher than estimates looking at the craze the film

It is the fourth highest advance ever but this film is likely to see more footfalls in current as it will sreck havoc in mass belts on day of release. The film actually is not really an advance film as a lot of places where it is going to record phenomenal collections dont even open the counters although for this film they probably would have but this hardly gets recorded.
