The Nun 2 has fared well at the box office collecting over 30 crore nett after its second weekend and these collections become very good considering it released on the same day as Jawan but despite the storm of that film it has held its ground.

The film managed to collect 22.50 crore nett in the first week and has had a strong second weekend with collections of 8 crore nett so it is heading for a drop which will be less than 50% in week two and that from an eight day first week. 

The film is a good franchise for India as the last film film released in 2018 had done around 50 crore nett in India and the business it has done with the limitations shows it would have surpassed The Nun (2018) if it released on a more normal weekend. Still the film will cross the 40 crore nett mark and even with competition of Jawan it may only finish 10-15% less than The Nun which is a great result.
