Jawan (Hindi) saw a drop on Tuesday which was expected post the holiday period but its still a fantastic collection of 8.50 crore nett. The collections may have come down but they remain at a high level and around 30% better than Pathaan on the same day.

This takes the total of the film to over 450 crore nett and the second week will clock a total of 120 crore nett which will be the third best ever after and the fifth century in week two after Bahubali - The Conclusion, Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues, Dangal and The the Kashmir Files. The film remains on course for somwhere around the 500 crore nett mark after three weeks.

The story of the film is the collections in South India as all records have gone and that it is not including the Tamil and Telugu versions. If we include regional  in the South will be doing as much if not more than what Pushpa did in the South and that was a South Indian film. The numbers in South are so huge that there will only be around 12-13 South Indian films to have more collections and only Hollywood release Avatar 2.  The Hindi circuits are all excellent but outside West Bengal and Assam it will not hit record numbers.
