12th Fail had good collections in the second weekend as it collected 8.25 crore nett .which is 25% higher than the first weekend which collected 6.50 crore nett. Its actually the trend which is very good rather than teh collections. The film now stands at a 20 crore nett plus total of 20.75 crore nett apprx.

The film is a surprise success as it looks like it will be a have a 27-28 crore nett total before the release of Tiger 3 and shockingly it actual has chances of emerging an outright HIT if it can collect post the Tiger 3. The Diwali period is a plus but it can also just fade out due to the heavyweight juggernaut so remains to be seen what happens.

It looks like a year of veteran directors who have been around for 40 years or more coming back this year. Earlier this year Anil Sharma created history with Gadar 2 and here another director from the 80's Vidhu Vinod Chopra may have an outside chance to score a HIT. Vidhu Vinod Sharma is no Anil Sharma with a  horrible track record consisting of mainly flops outside the decent success of Mission Kashmir. But after over 40 years this 12th Fail could be his first hit IF Tiger 3 lets it collect  The business of 12th Fail till date is as follows.
