Tiger has the third highest first weekend of all time despite it not being an optimum weeeknd with certain places being dull on day one and other places having a normal working day on day three. The film has still put up a huge 140 crore nett which is only behind Jawan and Pathan they had the holidays falling in a better way.
There are now thirteen films with a 100 crore nett weekend which includes the ten filsm below and Brahmastra, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Race 3. The target now is probably 150 crore nett if the holidays are there and maybe even on a normal weekend it is pretty mcuh possible.
The biggest Diwali weekend before Tiger 3 was Thugs Of Hindostan but there Diwali fell right as opening on the big national holiday and two partial holiday over the next two day but the film was not liked and it did a 98 crore nett weekend.
