12th Fail has emerged a surprise HIT as it continues to do well in its third which looks like doing around 10 crore nett thanks to a big jump in collections from Monday due to Diwali holidays. The film has collected 33 crore nett so far and looks like it will comfortably cross the 40 crore nett mark.

The film was hit hard with the release of Tiger 3 on Sunday but then the holiday period gave the film a push as it was an established film before the release of Tiger 3. The film is the first HIT of veteran director Vidhu Vinod Chopra after over forty years in the game.

The film has chances to sustain now for a a few weeks as the main cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Bangalore should continue with good numbers. The standout has been business in these three cities. The business of 12th Fail till date is as follows.
