Crew which opened advances on Tuesday evening has seen decent advances and may end up with advances better than films like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Yodha. The latter it will beat at most places while the former it should beat at the national chains while outside it will be ahead in some chains and less in others. The Friday is a holiday for Good Friday which is aiding the film.

The advances suggest the film can do an opening number like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya but it remains to be seen what is the contribution from mass pockets. The film is female led urban comedy and on top Godzilla x Kong will be first choice in these pockets. On the face of it the film should not be clashing with Godzilla x Kong and could come a week earlier for the more lucrative week of Holi but overseas probably comes into play.

The film has the presence of Kareena Kapoor who is is a strong draw overseas and on top it is Easter Weekend which should see good results in overseas especially the western markets of US / UK / AUS where Easter will give it a good boost.

Godzilla x Kong has good advances and will be targeting a double digit opening though it maybe driven by South India as on advances those look stronger. The last Godzilla Kong film had opened to almost 6.50 crore nett which was a huge number at the time as it was that Covid19 period.

The advances opened two weeks back for this film so sometimes its hard to tell how much is baked into the cake but its a creature film so mass and current should run well and it could get into double digits and if not it will be very close.
