Maidaan ended the week on a downward note as it say another big drop post the Ram Navmi Holiday. The collections came down to 1.25 crore nett on Thursday and a total of 27.50 crore nett for the extended first week. 

The trend of the film is pretty shocking on the weekdays. The collections of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan were expected to go this way on the weekdays but you expect a film like Maidaan to hold better as it has a smaller target audience..

There are a few small releases today with none of them finding and an audience so it remains to be seen how the film goes on its second Friday. At present it looks like a finish around the 40 crore nett mark for the film unless the business jumps today.. The collections of Maidaan till date are as follows.
