Maidaan remained the best collecting Hindi film in this dull period with collections of 2.50-2.75 crore nett in its fourth weekend. The film has seen a drop in collections this week as weekend is down 40-45% as compared to the 30-35% last week

The film has collected around 46 crore nett so far and now will cross 50 crore nett but it is basically as there are no releases. The film opened under 4 crore nett on a national holiday so getting to 50 crore nett from there is not bad but only if it was 20-30 crore budget films and not a 200 crore plus budgeted film.

Mumbai circuit remains best while Kolkata is also holding up well due to the football factor which is bigger in this city than other places. Next best is Bangalore while North India and Central are have awful collections. The collections of Maidaan till date are as follows.
