Bad Newz continues to do well on Saturday as it collected over 10 crore nett to take its two day number to 18.50 crore nett. The growth was limited at 25% but still considering the opening this is okay as the relative numbers are good. The 8 crore nett day one number was a huge plus and considering the limited appeal it would have been a surprise if the film went up 40-50% from 8 crore nett. But with films opening low the industry is used to seeing big Saturday growth.

The film has a double digit collection on Saturday which was probably expected to come on Sunday. The film has a very high ratio of business coming from the nationals as they contribute 70% of the all India business. They do contribute high ratios for the urban films but this is slightly more than normal. Bad Newz continues to good business in East Punjab and NCR though Mumbai can be better despite the Saturday growth.

Overall the film has put up good numbers over the first two days but Sunday growth is crucial as with a such high ratio of business from the bigger multiplexes there is always a chance of the film being fllat like the Hollywood releases. The bigger multiplexes see drops in business on Sunday evening and night shows. The collections of Bad Newz till date are as follows.
