Stree 2 is on a unstoppable as run as it shows a super strong run hold on the third Monday and here there is no holiday support or anything this week. The film has dropped a little over 25% from Friday and is looking at a third week of around 68 crore nett which will be just behind the long standing third week record of Bahubali - The Conclusion.

The hold also pretty much ensures that the film will also become the highest Hindi grosser ever as its pretty much locked the film will go over 550 crore nett. Jawan (Hindi) holds the record for the highest fourth week and it looks like that Stree 2 will challenge though it is still about where the fourth Friday lands.  After three weeks Jawan (Hindi) and Stree 2 will be neck to neck.

The total collections of the film so far are 484 crore nett and the film will be standing at around 500 crore nett by the end of the week. The film is also on course to become the second film in history to cross 150 crore nett in Mumbai circuit though still will be well behind the record of Bahubali - The Conclusion in this circuit. Gujarat / Saurashtra will cross the 50 crore nett mark by the end of the week as the film becomes the fourth film to achieve this feat in this crucial belt after Bahubali - The Conclusion, Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues and KGF 2.

There is a South domination here and this circuit is a good pointer to longevity and a super strong satellite runs. Bahubali - The Conclusion, KGF 2 and Gadar 2 - The Katha proved this and no doubt Stree 2 will follow.  Another film which was on a huge run in Gujarat was RRR (Hindi) but its run was curtailed by the release of KGF 2 and it fell short of 50 crore nett but would have done 50 crore nett it a juggeranat like KGF 2 never hit it after after 2 weeks. 

Post pandemic the satellite circuit has seen three huge blockbusters in Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues, RRR (Hindi) and KGF (Hindi) and Stree 2 may well be following these films as Gujarat is huge and UP (the other barometer for longevity of a film) is also extraordinary.  Although today the talk is about the other form of television which is streaming but its still huge satellite runs which takes a film to the masses and gives it some longevity and pushes the brand value. The super success of Stree 2 has a lot to with the satellite presence of Stree which took the franchise to another level. The collections of Stree 2 till date are as follows.
