Devara (Hindi) had a decent hold on Monday showing a drop of around 50% from the first day which means the film should get a good run over the the next two weeks or so and it there will be a holiday bump with Gandhi Jayanti on Wednesday. The film collected 3.75 crore nett on Monday taking its four day total to over 30 crore nett.
The first week should close over 40 crore nett due to the national holiday and then it will be about where the second Friday lands but it looks like the film will be doing 60 crore nett at least which is a fair number and remains to be seen if it can be better which will depend on the second. The film has seen larger drops in circuits which really out performed heavy on Friday like Bihar and Odisha (both these circuits were more than Fighter on day one) but other mass pockets like UP and Central are steadier.
The let down of the film is probably Mumbai circuit as better business there would have ensured the film going to 70 crore nett but the numbers in Mumbai are not going to be as high as they should be for dubbed South film probably for various reasons.
The film has seen a drop in the home market of Nizam Andhra which looked on the cards but it is possibly more than expected. The film pockets 95 crore nett over the weekend in Nizam / Andhra but it looks like only 7 crore nett on Monday which means 102 crore nett in four days. The overall total of the film is 157 crore nett plus over the first four days. The four day numbers of Devara (Hindi) are as follows.
Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 10,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 3,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 30,25,00,000 apprx
