Mere Husband Ki Biwi collected around 1.50 crore nett on day one driven by the buy one get one free offer. The number is better than what most would have expected for the film but when its come with these sort of deals the fair value is much lower and that number maybe is down more closer to the 1 crore nett mark though its hard to tell.

The film did not have much to offer and is released in the Chhaava wave across the country which will make the vox offie journey even harder as most of the audience out there this weekend will be going to that film. The offer may have helped the first day but after that it gets much tougher as major growth becomes hard to come by.

Loveyapa was probably a film in a similar zone but that film had even less face value than Meri Husband Ki Biwi and that will probably be the comparison for the film in the long run. Not that if it beats Loveyapa its much of a victory.
