The Diplomat collected 1.50 crore nett on Tuesday which is similar to the collections on Monday but it could have done with a little jump as collections are generally steady on Tuesday. This now takes the film to 16 crore nett plus and it will be looking at a 19 crore nett apprx first week which is a low number especially as the film will just get a two week run.

There can be case for this film that more awareness and promotion push could have pushed the opening collections which may have enabled the film to have some chance of success. The failing of the film looks to be the initial as though a a 4 crore nett number looks pretty good on paper it came because of Holi and fair value was probably 2.25-2.50 crore nett. .  

The initial is not just a problem for The Diplomat but for so many films released over the past few years. The films hold up well enough but collections dont go anywhere as they are holding off very low marks with the weekend killing chances of success. The collections of The Diplomat till date are as follows.
