Housefull 5 collected 5.25 crore nett on its second Friday which is around 12% down from Thursday. There is a drop but its not as bad as the drop on the weekdays so there is some stabilization although a number more closer to its Thursday number would have been better. There were only a couple of Hollywood releases so when there is no competition you always stand a chance of the holdover Friday being as good as the previous day.

Still the number is just about good enough to keep on track for and AVERAGE succcess but for that it has to consolidate over the weekend and get that growth which holdover films get. Basically the film is going to be middling success like Kesari 2 but you take that for Kesari 2 as nothing much is expected but with Housefull 5 the expectations are much more so middling success looks disappointing. In todays time it is a must that these established franchises become HIT films because outside franchise its very tough to get initial audience.

Housefull 5 stands at 119 crore nett at the moment and it does not look if it will reach the 150 crore nett mark by the end of the week unless Saturday and Sunday show really huge growth. The target now for the film is probably to become the second highest grosser of the year and for that it has beat the Raid 2 numbers which stand at around 164 crore nett at present.  The collections of Housefull 5 till date are as follows.
