Dhurandhar 2 has hit it out of park in paid previews as collections look like being around the 40 crore nett but mark there is a caveat in this figure as it includes many refunds which will have to be given as many shows were cancelled due to no delivery of content.  The film had already racked up advances of nearly 35 crore nett before the first show commenced so that 40 crore nett figure was always on. The advances for day one have been on fire today so it will be a record box office collection for the first day and it could be by a distance as the momentum just gets stronger.

Irrespective of the refunds the fact is the film would have got these collections if there were no delivery issues. Its an unknown how and when these refunds will be deducted. The outperformance has come down South with all the southern states putting up huge totals. Mysore should cross 5 crore nett and Nizam / Andhra will cross 4 crore nett. The contribution from South alone should be around 12-13 crore nett.

The Hindi mass belts like CPCI are lesser but that is expected in paid previews and also late delivery would have affected these belts more. These paid previews are just a trailer with the real show to start tomorrow and for the next four days it will be box office demolition of the type not seen in recent past. If you take the volume of business factor then what is about to happen over the next four days has never happened before.

This is what cinema is all about with crowds turning up in huge numbers and its a wait is by how much this film beats all the standing records.
