Sardaarji 2 is a blockbuster film as it heads for 15 crore nett business in East Punjab and 3.75 crore nett apprx in the rest of India. The film is the third highest grossing film ever in the Punjabi film history after Chaar Sahibzaade and Sardaarji. The drop in the second week is around the 70% mark which is higher than normal for a blockbuster Punjabi film but it was coming off from a huge first week..

The film grossed 1.49 crore nett in Delhi city in week one and beat all the films being screened in week one including Raman Raghav 2.0 (55 lakhs), Junooniyat (25 lakhs) and Independence Day - Resurgence (1.45 crore). All these films also had more screenings than Sardaarji 2.
