Mom (Hindi) had a good trend over the weekend as it grew very well on Saturday and consolidated on Sunday with collections of 6.25-6.50 crore nett. The weekend is low at 14 crore nett plus but the weekend trend gives it a chance to score over the weekdays. Hindi Medium released a few weeks back had grossed 11.79 crore nett with a tax exemptions in Maharashtra but on lesser screens.

It is a film that is mainly doing well in the five big metros (Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore) and it will be about how well these can hold from Monday onward. The collections of Mom for the first weekend are as follows.

Friday - 3,00,00,000

Saturday  - 5,00,00,000

Sunday - 6,25,00,000

Total - 14,25,00,000

The target for these films is always for the Monday collections to be somewhere around the Friday collection and this ensures a good run. If the film holds well on weekdays, the issue it will face is a a big release every week for the next few weeks.
