Udta Teer has taken a poor opening and although business is down due to the pre Diwali period it should have still opened better than it has. Last week there were two films with Nayyi Navelli and Prahaar and here its just one though there is another little film Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar which is getting some collection due to a buy one get one free offer helping its cause.

It remains to where the film will stand with last weeks Nayyi Navelli and Prahaar and best case scenario is probably similar collections to Nayyi Navelli though it looks less going by the morning shows. The film is an urban comedy with a sort of spoof theme which has never really gone down well with audiences in India. The content looks pretty much on the lines of Vibe released a few weeks back though this is a bigger film than Vibe. Both films can be called urban spy comedies.

The spoof element means its mainly about NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore where such comedies can get some audience and to do well today with such a limited crowd is a huge ask. It will be about a huge jump on Saturday and that is just to stay in the race. There was a time that Ayushmann Khurana films used to outferform in the NCR belt although there is a good chance it will come out best at the end of the day the occupancy in the morning is pretty much in line with other areas.

The other release Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar is a rom com with newcomers and buy one get one free offer is being used to attract an audience as its impossible otherwise to find an audience but even with the offer the collections will not be much.
