Zero had a big drop in business on Wednesday as it collected 4.5-5 crore nett which is around 50% lower than the Monday collection. The drop was always likely to come and it seals the fate of the film. The total collections of the film are now in the 80-81 crore nett range and it will do a first week collection of 85 crore nett.

This is lower than what Ra.One did on Diwali 2011 which managed 90 crore nett and Zero has come seven years later with more screens an higher ticket rates. The ticket rates were dropped on Wednesday at multiplexes after being held on Monday and Tuesday due to the holiday period..

The film is still best in UP and Bihar but collections have dropped there also on Wednesday. The only thing that remains now is to see whether the film can go over 100 crore nett and the business on Friday will tell that.
