Simmba did well very well in India but Overseas was also very good with over $8.5 million in the first week. The film hit a huge $3 million in US / Canada in the first week which was a standout. The mass markets like Pakistan and Nepal were also excellent with $650k and $400k respectively.

The worldwide figure was 249 crore apprx which already makes it the fifth highest grossing film worldwide in just one week. Only Sanju, Padmaavat, Race 3 and 2.0 (Hindi) are ahead. Race 3 and 2.0 (Hindi) may well be crossed after the second weekends. 2.0 (Hindi) will be for sure. The business of Simmba in week one was as follows.

India - 189 crore

Overseas - 60 crore

TOTAL - 249 crore

The key will be the Thursday - Friday drop and if it can hold really well then this film can even go to 250 crore nett plus.
