Kalank had some growth on Friday but was limited with collections going up around 5-10%. The film will collect around 11.5-12 crore nett on Friday as per early estimates and it had to go up more considering it was a part holiday for Good Friday.

The collections are around 43 crore nett over the first three days which is decent enough but the problem is the trajectory is not there for the film on Friday. The collections now have to up on Saturday which is going to be unlikely as Friday was a part holiday and this is why the film was resting on good growth on Friday.

The film has fair collections in places like Mumbai city, Delhi NCR, Nizam / Andhra and Mysore but East Punjab and the Hindi belt are not performing. Its generally the metro multiplex crowd and Muslim crowd in some areas coming for the film and mass has just not taken to it.

The last holiday Wednesday release Gold had grossed 41 crore nett in the first three days so it is still ahead of that but the problem is that the weekend collections may not match Gold due to this limited growth on Friday.
