Avengers: Endgame has crossed the 100 crore nett mark in South India becoming the first non South film to hit the mark and beating the records of Dangal which was the previous best for a non South film in South India. Dangal like Avengers: Endgame also had a release in regional formats and grossed 75 crore nett plus in 2016.

There have been changes in tax but even if we take gross figures then still Avengers: Endgame is way ahead and the NETT of Avengers: Endgame is better than the GROSS of Dangal. The business of Dangal is way ahead of any other Hindi film in South as the next best is Padmaavat at around 62 crore nett again with a multiple language format release.
