Punjab 1984 Crosses 10 crore Nett All India

Punjab 1984 has crossed the 10 crore nett mark in terms of all India business becoming only the fourth film to do so and that too in only two weeks. The film has done business of around 9 crore nett in East Punjab and a further 1.25 crore in the rest of India.

 

The business dropped 50% in East Punjab from week one and the rest of India had a smaller drop. The film has found immense appreciation and will continue to do strong business in week three.

 

The business after week three will be the second highest ever for a Punjabi film. The film has also scored very well overseas with business around the $1.5 million mark and with a near $2 million total possible it will be ahead of many Hindi films released this year despite a much lower screen count.
