Shadaa continued to smash all records for Punjabi films as it recorded the highest ever Monday in history with collections of 2.35 crore nett. The collections were just 10% down from Friday so with Punjab being almost a totally multiplex dominated circuit it means the footfalls were more on Monday than Friday. The collections fell as the ticket rates come down on Monday.

The previous record was Carry On Jatta 2 which had collected around 2.20 crore nett on Monday. Carry On Jatta 2 is the all time highest Punjab grosser and so far in four days Shadaa is around 1 crore nett ahead. Shadaa has collected 11.60 crore nett in four days while Carry On Jatta 2 collected 10.60 crore nett in four days. In terms of GROSS collections Shadaa is around 10 lakhs better off.

It is pretty much clear after Monday that Shadaa will be among the top two films of Punjab cinema and its just about whether its top or second. Friday will be the next test for the film. It will beat the lifetime figures of all Punjabi films barring Carry On Jatta 2 in ten days flat. The collections of Shaada till date are as follows.

Friday - 2,60,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 3,05,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 3,60,00,000 apprx

Monday - 2,35,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 11,60,00,000 apprx

Shadaa is double or treble the business of Kabir Singh (which itself is a huge HIT) in all the cities of Punjab except Chandigarh where it is 50% ahead of Kabir Singh.
