Saaho (Hindi) had a good advance but it did not go through on the last day of advance due to release problems. There were many show cancellations across the country as it got known the prints of the film would not arrive in time for a Friday morning release. The issue was the late delivery of 2K prints and these are still being delivered right now. The pre sales for the Hindi version of the film were around 8.50 crore nett but would have easily topped 10 crore nett were it not for these issues.

The bigger collecting cinemas mainly use 2K prints so chains like PVR and Inox are hugely affected and a number of shows cancelled this morning. There was likely to be a problem as the overseas prints arrived on Wednesday evening only but there is always hope that it will go smoothly. In Gujarat / Saurashtra the film as heading for a better advance than Bharat until this happened. A 3 crore nett plus opening day looked certain but now there are shows cancelled in the morning. The print issue seems to be more with the Hindi version as the Telugu version got delivered earlier in Overseas. The film should get going eventually but the opening day will probably not be as much as it could have been due to the film getting a messed up release.

It has still managed the fifth best advance of the year but it would have probably been third best without these delivery issues. The top two had hiked ticket prices which is not then case with Saaho (Hindi). The top advances of 2019 till date are as follows

3. Kabir Singh - 10,85,00,000

4. Kalank - 9,38,00,000 

5. Saaho (Hindi) - 8,50,00,000 apprx

6. Kesari - 7.64,00,000 crore 

7. Gully Boy - 7,20,00,000 crore (4 Days)

8. Total Dhamaal - 6,37,00,000 crore (3 Days) 

The above films were the only films have some sort of advance this year. All figures are pre release all India collections.
