Spiderman Brand New Day has taken a huge opening all over and it will be the biggest opening day ever for a Hollywood film in India as its practically certain to beat the long standing record of Avengers Endgame set in 2019. The film looked assured to be among the top openings for Hollywood over the weekend but by Tuesday it looked on target for the biggest ever opening day.

Endgame had collected a huge 53 crore nett plus opening at that time as it sold 9.7 lakh tickets at the national chains before release for the first day which remains a record for any film released in India be it a film from India or abroad.

The advance here for Spiderman Brand New Day is 5.85 lakh which is 40% less than Avengers Endgame but with todays pricing the collections are greater and this is going to lead to the highest opening ever for a Hollywood film. Actually best way to put it is it SHOULD as certainty is only when it happens.

The dynamics have changed since Endgame for Hollywood releases and though the record should come at an all India level its unlikely to beat Endgame figures in the Hindi film circuits. It will probably be that it is less than Endgame in all of our circuits but the Southern circuits are much higher than Endgame.

Although these South films are talked about being pan India its Hollywood that is actually REAL pan India as a Hollywood event film is guaranteed to score all over while with the so called pan India films which come from the South its HIT and MISS scenario.
