Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Prassthanam and The Zoya Factor all fared very poorly on the first day with former having the best collections. The film was the launchpad of the son of Sunny Deol but has not found an audience and its difficult to see the film going anywhere from this sort of start. It should show growth on Saturday but the onlly real target is to come out the best of the new releases and they are a poor bunch.

Prassthanam was next best as the film did better in single screens though they were still poor. The collections in the multiplexes were a total disaster. the film is a remake of a South film but it looked a South film also except there was Sanjay Dutt there.

The Zoya Factor was the worst of the lot as mentioned yesterday Pal Pal Ke Pass and Prassthanam have probably gone wrong in execution (unless they show huge turnarounds) but this film should not have even made as would be disaster even if executed well. The film has nothing for the audience apart for the audience in Kerala. The film picked up 7 lakhs nett in Kerala although more was expected as the actor in the film has some value there but this 7 lakh is still better than what films like Dream Girl and Chhichhore did on day one. Take away Kerala and the collections are an even bigger disaster. The first day collections of the three films are as follows.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas: 1.1-1.2 crore

Prassthanam; 75-80 lakhs

The Zoya Factor: 65-70 lakhs
