Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui has collected around 1.75 crore nett on Monday which takes its total to 14 crore nett which means that the film is not going anywhere. The fate of the film ws settled on Saturday but if the film could have done close to its first day number then at least that would have meant the film had something in terms of content and the performance was more to do with the present circumstances where the audience is not coming out for smaller films in the high ticket price multiplexes.

The film has behaved better in Delhi NCR and East Punjab and both these areas will return the best numbers post the pandemic for a Hindi film after Sooryavanshi but that does not matter much as these areas should actually be doing double of what they are.

Despite better numbers in Delhi NCR the circuits numbers of the film in Delhi /UP will fall short of Antim - The Final Truth and Tadap but East Punjab will beat those films due to the collections in Gurgaon and Chandigarh. A better response for this film would have give a major boost to the industry but now many makers of the content multiplex films will be thinking of digital premieres as recoveries are higher while the multiplexes dont start doing better for the smaller films.
