The Marathi film Pawankhind scored a big weekend as it collected in the 6.25-6.50 crore nett range. the film was released on around 525 screens and saw huge growth on Saturday. There have been a couple of Marathi films to have gone over 10 crore nett. Sairat the biggest Marathi film opened to around 11.50 crore nett in 2016.

This film has 50% occupancy which affects the collections of the films in the single screens of Maharashtra as they can only do half their potential business. The weeeknd numbers are very good and going by Saturday the film should hold up very well. The weekend collections of Pawankhind are as follows.

TOTAL - 6,50,00,000 apprx

Badhaai Ho showed a good hold in its second weekend with collections of 4.25 crore nett which is a drop of around 40% from the first weekend. The overall collections are low but that was always going to be case and it was going to be about the trend of the film and its sustained well enough till now. It should go on and finish over the 20 crore nett mark from here though a lot depends on how it collects when Gangubai Kathiawadi opens on Friday. The business of Badhaai Do till date is as follows.
